Pinabulaanan ng Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) ang mga alegasyon ni Peter Joemel Advincula alyas ‘Bikoy’ na nagkaroon ng mga pulong sa kanilang campus para sa planong pagpapatalsik kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa pwesto.
Sa isang pahayag araw ng Huwebes, sinabi ni ADMU president Jose Ramon T. Villarin na walang kahit anong pulong na binuo o inorganisa ang Pamantasan tulad ng inaakusa ni Bikoy.
“I would like to inform the University community that the Ateneo de Manila University did not convene or organize any of the meetings alleged by Peter Joemel ‘Bikoy’ Advincula to have taken place on campus.The University categorically denies insinuations made this morning that it is party to a plot to overthrow the present government of the Republic of the Philippines,” ani Villarin.
Nauna nang sinabi ni Vice President Leni Robredo na walang kahit anong pulong na ginanap ang Otso Diretso sa Ateneo kung saan siya ay inaakusahan ni Bikoy na dumalo.
Ani Robredo, kahit kailan ay hindi pa niya nakita nang personal si Bikoy at wala umano itong kredibilidad.
“Sigurado ako, hindi siya (Bikoy) credible kasi sinabi nga niya nag-meet kami sa Ateneo. Never ko pa siya na meet sa aking buhay. Sabi niya Otso Diretso meetings sa Ateneo na nag drop by raw ako. Walang Otso Diretso meeting na ginawa sa Ateneo. Kasama namin ang Magdalo sa coalition dahil kay Congressman Gary Alejano, at wala kaming pinag-usapan tungkol kay Bikoy o ouster plot. Puro tungkol sa kampanya,” ani Robredo.
Samantala, ipinahayag ni Villarin ang posibilidad nang paghahain ng reklamo dahil sa posibleng pinsala na idudulot ng walang basehang akusasyon ni Bikoy.
“It reserves all of its rights to seek redress for any damage which may be wrought by such reckless claim and takes seriously the imperative to uphold the rule of law in our democracy,” dagdag ng ADMU official.
