Kim: Military presence ng US sa South China Sea hindi ihihinto

Nanindigan si US Ambassador to Manila Sung Kim na magpapatuloy ang presensya ng US Army sa pinag-aagawang South China Sea at palalakasin lalo ang military cooperation ng Washington at Maynila.

Sa panayam ng media sa Quezon City araw ng Huwebes, iginiit ni Kim ang kahalagahan ng South China Sea para sa America.

Kahit hindi claimant ang Washington, sineseryoso anya ng US ang kasulukuyang sitwasyon sa South China Sea.

Ani Kim, patuloy na magsusumikap ang US na maprotektahan ang freedom of navigation at freedom of overflight sa teritoryo na mahalaga hindi lamang sa Pacific Region kundi maging sa international community.

Matatandaang iginigiit ng China na pagmamay-ari nila ang halos kabuuan ng South China Sea.

Samantala, sinabi ni Kim na nasa likod ng Pilipinas ang US sakaling umusbong ang tensyon sa pinag-aagawang teritoryo.
