Comelec: Local voter turnout ng May 13 polls umabot sa 75.90%

Umabot sa 75.90 percent ang local voter turnout ng nagdaang May 13 elections ayon sa Commission on Elections (Comelec).

Sa isang press briefing, sinabi ni Comelec spokesperson James Jimenez na 46,937,139 ang bumoto sa bansa.

Hindi pa kasama sa naturang bilang ang voter turnout para sa overseas absentee voting.

“The local turnout is 75.90 percent. This is for local voters, not including the OAV. We’re still checking the turnout for the OAV but it looks low,” ani Jimenez.

Matatandaang nauna nang sinabi ng Comelec na kumpyansa silang maaabot ang target na 75 percent voter turnout sa katatapos lamang na halalan.
