Palasyo tiniyak ang imbestigasyon sa alegasyon ni Cam

Tiniyak ng Palasyo ng Malakanyang na magsasagawa ng full blown investigation ang pamahalaan laban sa alegasyon ni Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) board member Sandra Cam na P10 bilyong ang nawawala umano sa kaban ng bayan dahil sa hindi maayos na implementasyon ng perya ng bayan.

Pero ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo, gagawin lamang ito ng Palasyo kapag naghain na ng criminal o formal complaint si Cam.

“As I said in my statement, the moment she files criminal charges or whatever complaints she has in mind, then the President will order a full-blown investigation,” ani Panelo.

Sa ngayon, sinabi ni Panelo na pinapayuhan ng Palasyo si Cam na magbitiw na lamang sa puwesto kung hindi na masikmura ang korupsyon sa PCSO.

“That’s why our suggestion is if she feels that she cannot stomach whatever she is confronted inside the agency which she works, then she can always resign and pursue her advocacy outside of the government,” dagdag ni Panelo.

Maari naman aniyang ipagpatuloy ni Cam ang kanyang mga adbokasiya sa labas ng pamahalaan.

Pinayuhan na rin ng palasyo si cam na dumulog sa Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) na maghain ng reklamo subalit hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa ito ginagawa ng opisyal.
