Ex-Ombudsman Morales, balik bansa na matapos maharang sa Hong Kong

Nakabalik na sa bansa si dating Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales matapos itong maharang sa paliparan sa Hong Kong dahil sa umanoy pagiging “security threat.”

Lumapag sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2 ang eroplanong sinakyan ni Morales Martes ng gabi.

Dahil sa malakas na ulan, pansamantalang naantala ang pagdating ng Philippine Airlines flight PR 307 na sinakyan ni Morales kasama ang kaniyang pamilya.

Una rito ay sinabi ng abogado ni Morales na si Anne Marie Corominas na hindi pinayagang makapasok ng Hong Kong ang dating Ombudsman kasama ang pamilya nito para sana magbakasyon.

Napaulat na kalaunan ay pinayagang makapasok ng Hong Kong si Morales at pamilya nito pero nagdesisyon itong bumalik na lang sa Pilipinas.

Sa kanyang pagdating sa NAIA sinabi ni Morales na gaya dati ay magpapahayag pa rin siya ng kanyang saloobin.

“I’ll be vocal in the same manner that I have been vocal before,” ani Morales.

Matatandaan na noong Marso, kasama si dating Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert del Rosario ay naghain sila ng relamo laban kay Chinese Pres. Xi Jinping sa International Criminal Court (ICC) dahil sa umano’y “crime against humanity” kaugnay ng agawan ng teritoryo sa West Philippine Sea.
