Robredo, hindi tinanggap ang pagbibitiw ng ilang opisyal ng LP
Hindi tinanggap ni Vice President at Liberal Party (LP) chairman Leni Robredo ang pagbibitiw sa pwesto ng ilang matataas na opisyal ng LP.
Nag-resign sina Senador Francis Pangilinan bilang LP president at si Quezon City Representative Christopher “Kit” Belmonte bilang LP secretary general.
Sa inilabas na pahayag, sinabi ni Atty. Barry Gutierrez, tagapagsalita ni Robredo, marami pang kailangang gawing trabaho at kailangan itong gawin ng dalawa nang magkasama.
Nagbitiw si Pangilinan para akuin ang responsibilidad sa pagkatalo ng Otso Diretso sa nagdaang 2019 midterm elections.
Sa walong pambatong senador ng LP, si reelectionist senator Bam Aquino ang nakakuha ng pinakamataas pwesto na pang-14.
Si dating LP president at DILG Secretary Mar Roxas naman ay nasa pang-16 na pwesto.
Ang anim pang opposition senatoriables ay nasa pang-21 pwesto pababa.
