7,000 kalahok sa National PRISAA Games 2019 sa Davao City

Matapos ang makasaysayang Palarong Pambansa 2019, isa na namang major sports competition ang ginaganap ngayon sa Davao City.

Umarangkada na simula araw ng Linggo, (May 19) ang 63rd Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA) National Games sa University of Mindanao – Davao City.

Ang PRISAA ay isang athletic meet para sa mga college students kung saan ang mga magwawagi ay magiging kinatawan ng Pilipinas sa World University Games ayon kay Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Butch Ramirez.

Higit 7,000 atleta at coaches mula sa 16 na rehiyon ng bansa maliban sa National Capital Region (NCR) ang maglalaban-laban sa 19 na team at individual sports at maging sa limang academic at cultural competitions.

Katulong ng private schools sa pag-organisa sa athletic meet ngayong taon ang Department of Education (DepEd), Commission on Higher Education (CHED) at ang PSC.

Ang tema ng PRISAA 2019 ay “Sustaining Filipino Athlete for Global Competitiveness.”
