4 na party-list groups pinasususpinde ang canvassing dahil sa mga ‘glitch’ sa eleksyon

Hiniling ng 4 na party-list groups sa Commission on Elections (Comelec) na ihinto ang canvassing ng mga boto dahil sa ilang “glitch” noong eleksyon.

Naghain ang Append, Partido Lakas ng Masa, Murang Kuryente at Ang Nars ng manifestation at urgent motion para bigyan sila ng access sa election data at audit logs mula sa mga vote counting machines at servers.

Hiniling din ng mga grupo na suspendihin ng Comelec ang canvassing at proklamasyon ng mga nanalo sa party-list election.

Sa kanilang 9 pahinang petisyon, nakasaad ang mga depektibong VCMs, SD cards at 7 oras na glitch o paghinto ng transparency server na nag-delay sa paglalabas ng partial at unofficial results sa media at poll watchdogs.

“Discrepancies and manifest errors in the certificates of canvass may have arisen as a result of these technical glitches,” nakasaad sa petisyon.

Hanggang araw ng Biyernes ay nasa 146 Certificates of Canvass o 87.43 percent ng kabuuang 167 COCs.
