PCG at US Coast Guard nagsama sa Brigada Eskwela
Tatlumpung sailor ng US Coast Guard Bertholf ang makikiisa sa isasagawang Brigada Eskwela ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) ngayong araw sa Centex Elementary School sa kanto ng Recto at Abad Santos.
Ang US sailors ay tutulong maglinis, magkumpuni at magpintura ng mga upuan ng mga estyudante.
Magkakaroon din ng interaction ang mga sundalong Amerikano sa mga estudyante ng Centex Elementary School at sports clinic na pangungunahan ni Coast Guard Auxiliary Lt. Commander Gerald Anderson.
Matapos ang Brigada Eskwela, maglalaro naman ang US Coast Guard sailors kalaban ang PCG sa isang friendly basketball game.
Bagaman ito ay friendly game, hindi magpapakampante ang PCG team dahil ang US Coast Guard Bertholf na barko ay naka base sa Alameda California na malapit sa Oakland Arena na tahanan ng Golden State Warriors.
Kasama din sa activities ngayong araw ang small boat operations, damage control at fire fighting exercise sa pagitan ng mga tauhan ng dalawang coast guard.
