PDEA: 25 pulitiko na nasa narco list nanalo sa halalan

Kahit nasama pa sa listahan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte, wagi ang 25 umano’y narco-politicians sa nagdaang May 13 midterm elections.

Ayon kay Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) director general Aaron Aquino, sa 46 na pulitikong kabilang sa narco list, 36 ang tumakbo sa halalan.

Mayorya anya sa 25 local officials na nasa listahan ng presidente ay nanalo sa mayoral race.

Anim sa winning candidates ay mula sa CALABARZON, apat sa ARMM at Central Luzon.

Iginiit naman ni Aquino na kung hindi nabunyag ang pagkakasangkot ng mga pulitiko sa kalakalan ng iligal na droga ay baka nanalo silang lahat.

“If it were made public most likely, who knows, there are 46 (local officials) of them. Not everyone of them won. Somehow, there was an effect that half of the 46 did not win,” ani Aquino.

Palaisipan sa PDEA chief kung bakit marami pa rin sa mga Filipino ang bumoto sa mga hinihinalang sangkot sa kalakalan ng iligal na droga.

Gayunman, posible anyang may ilan namang narco-politicians na magaling naman sa pamamahala.
