NCRPO tutulong na sa MMDA sa paglilinis ng campaign materials
Tutulong na ang National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) sa Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) upang mapadali ang paglilinis sa Metro Manila mula sa campaign materials.
Inanunsyo ito ni NCRPO director Maj. Gen. Guillermo Eleazar at sinabing nakikipag-ugnayan na siya kay MMDA chairman Danilo Lim para sa pagsasagawa ng huling cleanup operations sa Metro Manila.
Apela naman ni Eleazar, wakasan na ang maling gawain ng pag-iiwan na lamang basta-basta ng campaign materials sa mga lugar na pinagkabitan dito tuwing matatapos ang halalan.
Hinimok ng police official ang mga pulitiko na gawin din ang kanilang bahagi at maging mabubuting halimbawa.
“Whether or not the candidates won the Monday’s elections, they should all serve as role models in cleaning up the campaign materials which came from them in the first place,” ani Eleazar.
Magugunitang halos pitong trak ng campaign trash ang nakolekta ng MMDA noong May 14, isang araw matapos ang halalan.
