5 drum ng langis tumagas sa Bucao River sa Zambales

Nagkaroon ng oil spill mula sa isang barko ng Singapore na may Chinese crew sa bahagi ng Bucao River sa Botolan, Zambales.

Ayon sa DENR-Central Luzon, nakadaong ang barko para sa dredging operation at naghihintay ng permit mula sa Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

Kinumpirma ng DENR na 5 drum ng langis ang tumagas mula sa barko at kumalat sa dagat.

Nagreklamo na ang mga mangingisda dahil amoy langis ang nakukuha nilang mga isda.

Nakipag-ugnayan na ang DENR sa Philippine Coast Guard at mga residente kaugnayng oil spill.

Plano rin ng ahensya na kasuhan ang may-ari ng Singaporean vessel na hindi muna pinagalanan.
