Comelec iimbestigahan ang pagsunog sa 2 VCM sa Isabela
Magsasagawa ng imbestigasyon ang Commission on Elections (Comelec) sa pagsunog ng dalawang ginamit na vote counting machine (VCM) kasabay ng midterm elections sa Jones, Isabela.
Sa isang press briefing, sinabi ni Comelec chairman Sheriff Abas na iimbestigahan ang insidente.
Napaulat ang pagkuha at pagsunog ng VCM at ibang election paraphernalia ng isang grupo ng mga armadong lalaki.
Ayon kay Board of Election Inspector head Arlyn Borromeo-Santos, naunang pumalya ang nasabing VCM kung saan nasa 200 balota ang naapektuhan.
Wala na umano itong epekto sa resulta ng eleksyon dahil hindi nagamit ang mga balota.
