Iprinoklama na ng Comelec si Valenzuela Mayor Rex Gatchalian pasado alas dose ng madaling araw ng Martes.
Ilang oras bago ang proklamasyon ay malaki ang lamang ni Gatchalian sa pumangalawang si Bong Go.
Sa 90 percent ng mga natransmit na boto napanatili ni Gatchalian ang pangunguna sa botong 239,182.
Samantala, sa ibang posisyon ay iprinoklama na rin si Vice Mayor Lorie Natividad-Borja.
