61 milyong Filipino inaasahang boboto ngayong araw

Higit 61 milyong Filipino ang inaasahang tutungo ngayon sa mga polling centers para bumoto para sa mga Senador na uupo sa susunod na anim na taon at mga opisyal na magpapatakbo sa local government sa susunod namang tatlong taon.

Labindalawang pwesto sa Senado, 243 pwesto sa Kamara, 61 para sa party-list organizations, 17,750 local positions ang nakatakdang pagbotohan ngayong araw.

Pinalawig ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) ang oras ng botohan sa 36,830 polling centers sa buong bansa mula alas-6:00 ng umaga hanggang alas-6:00 ng gabi.

Nasa higit 500,000 guro ang magsisilbi bilang Board of Election Inspectors (BEI) members ayon sa Department of Education (DepEd).

Handa na rin ang 164,246 personnel ng Philippine National Police (PNP) na tutulungan pa ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) para matiyak ang seguridad ngayong araw.

Samantala, inilunsad ng poll body ang precinct finder application upang madaling malaman ng mga botante kung saan sila boboto.
