LENTE bagong partner ng Comelec para sa Random Manual Audit kapalit ng Namfrel

Ang grupong Legal Network for Truthful Elections (LENTE) ang bagong partner ng Commission on Elections sa pagsasagawa ng Random Manual Audit para sa May 13 midterm polls.

Papalitan ng LENTE ang National Citizens Movement for Free Elections (Namfrel) matapos itong umatras bilang citizens arm ng Comelec.

Ayon kay Comelec Commissioner Luie Guia, inaprubahan ng en banc ang partisipasyon LENTE bilang lead convenor.

Ang Random Manual Audit Committee ay bubuuin ng tatlong miyembro, ang Comelec, Philippine Statistics Authority at civil society organization.

Nuong 2010 at 2013 ang partner ng Comelec para sa RMA ay ang Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting.

Habang ang Namfrel naman noong 2016.
