686 corrupted na SD cards papalitan ng Comelec
Tatlong araw bago ang halalan, papalitan ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) ang nasa 686 SD cards dahil corrupted ang mga ito.
Ang SD cards ay gagamitin bilang storage ng encrypted image ng mga balota na papasok sa vote counting machines (VCMs).
Sinabi ni Comelec Spokesperson James Jimenez, sa kabuuan ay 686 SD cards ang napaulat na corrupted. Ang bilang ay batay sa ulat hanggang alas 6:00 Biyernes ng gabi.
Hindi naman aniya ito magiging problema sa mismong araw ng eleksyon dahil tinutugunan na nila ito sa ngayon.
“When an SD card is reported as corrupted, we respond by preparing replacement cards. The replacement cards are then swapped with the corrupted cards, kaliwaan ‘yan,” ani Jimenez.
Sinabi ni Jimenez na hindi sila basta-basta nag-iisyu ng SD cards na bago hangga’t hindi naibabalik sa kanila ang corrupted na SD cards.
