Precinct finder app inaayos pa ayon sa Comelec
Tatlong araw bago ang eleksyon, sinabi ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) na inaayos pa ang precinct finder app.
Ayon kay Comelec spokesperson James Jimenez, sumasailalim pa sa testing ang app para malaman kung wala na itong magiging problema.
Paliwanag naman ni Jimenez bagaman inanunsyo nilang magkakaroon ng precinct finder app ay hindi pa naman nila inaanunsyo na ito ay handa na at magagamit na.
“The app was undergoing testing, precisely for the purpose of determining if any issues remained – hence, while there was an announcement that there would be a precinct finder, wala pa rin namang formal announcement to say ready na,” ani Jimenez.
Sinabi ni Jimenez na may ilang isyu pa sa app particular ang pagkakaroon ng default response na “deactivated” kapag may nade-detect na blangkong field.
Naireport na aniya ito sa Department of Information and Communications Technology o DICT na siyang gumawa ng program at agad sinuspinde ang link na ginagamit ng publiko, habang nireresolba ang isyu.
Pinayuhan ang mga botante na hintayin ang pormal na anunsyo kung kailan maaring magamit ang app.
