Mga guro makukuha ang kalahati ng honoraria bago ang eleksyon
Makukuha ng mga guro sa pampublikong eskwelahan na magsisilbi sa eleksyon ang kalahati ng kanilang honoraria bago ang magsimula ang halalan sa Lunes May 13.
Ayon sa Department of Education (DepEd), ibibigay ang honoraria kapag kinuha ng mga guro ang election paraphernalia bago magbukas ang polling precincts alas 6:00 ng umaga.
Ibibigay naman ang natitirang kalahati matapos ang botohan sa turn-over ng election materials sa mga otoridad.
Ayon kay Education Undersecretary Tonisito Umali, nasa batas na kapag hindi naibigay ang honoraria sa anumang dahilan, mayroong 15 araw para ibigay ang balanse.
Ang chairperson ng Board of Election Inspector (BEI) ay tatanggap ng P6,000; tig P5,000 sa bawat miyembro habang ang DepEd supervisor/official ay P4,000 at P2,000 sa bawat isang support/technical staff.
Bukod dito ay mayroon pa silang P1,000 transportation allowance.
