Mahigit 500,000 itatalaga ng DepED sa eleksyon
Aabot sa mahigit 500,000 mga guro at kawani ang itatalaga ng Department of Education (DepEd) sa midterm elections sa May 13.
Sa press conference sinabi ni DepEd Undersecretary Annalyn Sevilla, kabuuang 531,307 na opisyal, mga guro at tauhan ang itatalaga sa eleksyon.
Sa nasabing bilang ay 257,304 ang guro na magiging bahagi ng electoral board.
Sa ilalim ng Election Service Reform Act of 2016, ang mga miyembro ng electoral board ay tatanggap ng sumusunod na honoraria:
Chairperson – P6,000
Poll clerk – P5,000
Third member – P5,000
DepEd supervisor official – P4,000
Support staff – P2,000
Mayroon din silang P1,00 na travel allowance.
Sinabi ni Sevilla na aabot din sa 36,830 public schools ang gagamiting polling centers para sa halalan sa Lunes.
