Comelec: Walang ‘major concerns’ sa VCMs na gagamitin sa eleksyon

Wala pang natatanggap na report ang Commission on Elections (Comelec) na major concerns mula sa iba’t ibang lugar sa pagsasagawa ng final testing at sealing of vote sealing ng vote Counting machines (VCMs) na gagamitin sa eleksyon sa Lunes May 13.

Ayon kay Comelec spokesman James Jimenez, may ilang concern ukol sa ilang makina na mabagal ang start-up.

Nakatanggap ng report ang Comelec Command Center for the FTS na bagsak sa diagnostics at kailangang ipagpalit sa replacement machine.

Pero sinabi ni Jimenez na inaasahan na ang naturang report kay mayroon silang contingency machines.

Sa Quezon City District 4, nagkaroon naman ng corrupted memory cards pero napalitan agad.

Nakatakdang ipagpatuloy ang FTS hanggang May 10.

Habang mayroong FTS, papalitan ang mga makina na bumagsak sa diagnostics at kalaunan ay susuriin ang dahilan ng problema.
