CAAP naglabas ng lightning alert; ilang flights diverted sa Clark

Ilang biyahe na papuntang Manila ang na-divert sa Clark International Airport matapos maglabas ang Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) ng lightning alert sa Metro Manila Miyerkules ng gabi.

Inilabas ang warning para sa lahat ng eroplano na gagamit sana ng runways 13-31 at 06-24 sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

Ayon kay CAAP spokesperson Eric Apolonio, ilang flights ang napilitang lumapag sa Clark bilang precautionary measure.

Mayroong anti-lightning devices ang mga eroplano at airport pero ang ground o ramp personnel ay pwedeng maapektuhan ng kidlat.

Ang sumusunod ang mga biyaheng na-divert sa Clark:

  • APG353 RPSP-RPLL landed RPLC 1025z
  • PAL721 EGLL-RPLL landed RPLC 1052Z
  • PAL113 KLAX-RPLL landed RPLC 1100z
  • CEN954 RPMD-RPLL landed RPLC 1106z

Nakaranas ng thunderstorm sa Metro Manila at karatig na mga lugar dahilan ng baha at apektadong operasyon sa NAIA.
