‘Real-time’ election monitoring center inilunsad ng PNP

Inilunsad ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang National Election Monitoring Action Center (NEMAC) kung saan magkakaroon ng real-time monitoring ng mga polling centers sa buong bansa.

Ayon kay PNP chief General Oscar Albayalde, 60 na police personnel ang magbabantay sa center na mananatiling active ilang araw matapos ang eleksyon.

Mamomonitor sa center ang aktuwal na pangyayari sa polling centers kabilang ang sitwasyon sa ground gaya ng delivery ng vote counting machines.

“This will give us real-time situation on what is happening on the ground, pati ‘yung pagdeliver ng VCM (vote-counting machines) doon sa mga iba’t ibang polling centers,” he said. Kung gusto nating malaman kung ano ang sitwasyon doon, i-ki-click lang natin doon kung anong polling center iyan and we will know kung sino talaga ang nakadeploy doon,” ani Albayalde.

Sa pamamagitan anya ng center ay malalaman ng pulisya kung nagsimula o natapos na ang botohan sa polling centers at kung maayos na nadeliver ang ballot boxes.

Ang mga polling centers anya na mayroong mabagal na internet connection ay pwedeng magreport ng direkta sa pinakamalapit na istasyon ng pulisya na siyang magpapaalam ng sitwasyon sa national headquarters ng PNP sa Camp Crame.
