DFA: Walang Filipino na nasawi sa bumagsak na eroplano sa Russia
Nagpahayag ng pakikiramay ang Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) sa mga biktima ng pampasaherong eroplano na bumagsak sa Moscow, Russia noong Linggo.
“The DFA extends its condolences to the victims of a passenger plane which caught fire after it made an emergency landing in Moscow, Russia on 5 May 2019,” ayon sa kagawaran.
Kasabay nito, iniulat ng kagawaran na walang Filipino na nadamay sa insidente.
Ayon sa Philippine Embassy sa Moscow, hindi bababa sa 41 na sakay ng Aeroflot SU 1492 ang nasawi kabilang ang dalawang bata.
Matapos bumagsak sa Sheremetyevo Airport ay nagliyab ang eroplano.
Sugatan din sa plane crash ang 23 iba pa na binigyan ng atensyong medikal.
Ayon sa Aeroflot, nagkaroon ng engine fire ang eroplano matapos mapwersang bumalik sa Sheremetyevo dahil sa problemang teknikal.
