Inaresto ang tatlong close-in security ni Isabela, Negros Occidental Mayor Joselito Malabor matapos makuhanan ng mga armas at bala Martes ng umaga.
Dalawa sa mga arestadong bodyguards ay mga retiradong sundalo.
Nakumpiska sa raid sa bahay ng mga bodyguards ang kalibre .45 na baril, mga magazine at bala.
Ayon kay Negros Occidental Provincial Police Office chief Col. Romeo Baleros, walang dokumento ang mga nadiskubreng armas.
Iniimbestigahan kung may koneksyon ang tatlo sa ambush sa bayan ng Moises Padilla noong April 25 kung saan nasawi si reelectionist councilor Michael Garcia at tiyuhin nitong si Mark Garcia.
Inamin naman ni Mayor Malabor na tauhan niya ang tatlo pero sinabi nito na may halong pulitika ang pag-aresto sa mga ito.
Nahaharap ang tatlo sa kasong illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
