Daraga mayor Baldo, hinikayat ng PNP na sumuko na
Hinikayat ng Philippine National Police (PNP) si Daraga, Albay Mayor Carlwyn Baldo na sumuko na sa mga otoridad.
Ito ay matapos ilabas ng Legazpi Regional Trial Court Branch 10 ang arrest warrant laban kay Baldo.
Sa isang press briefing sa Camp Crame, sinabi ni PNP chief Gen. Oscar Albayalde na mas maigi nang sumuko dahil darating din ang araw na haharapin nito ang korte.
Natanggap ng mga opisyal ng Albay Provincial Police Office ang kopya ng arrest warrant dahil sa inihaing kasong double-murder at attempted murder laban kay Baldo.
Si Baldo rin ang itinuturong responsable sa pagpatay kay Ako Bicol Partylist Rep. Rodel Batocabe at security escort na si Police Senior Master Sergeant Orlando Diaz.
Mariin naman itong itinanggi ni Baldo.
