P1.8B halaga ng equipment natanggap ng PNP

Natanggap na ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang P1.8 bilyong halaga ng mga kagamitan at bomb-sniffing dogs para palakasin ang kanilang operational capabilities.

Iprinesenta mismo ni PNP chief Gen. Oscar Albayalde sa Camp Bagong Diwa ang 23,801 units ng mga bagong kagamitan na kinabibilangan ng Engine Helicopters, Patrol Jeeps, motorcycles, mga baril at iba pa.

Ayon kay Albayalde, ang bagong mga gamit ay binili sa pamamagitan ng capability enhancement program ng PNP na nagsimula taong 2016.

Layon anya nitong palakasin ang basic operational requirements ng kada unit ng PNP mula municipal hanggang national support units.

Umaasa si Albayalde na maipapadala sa loob ng linggong ito ang mga kagamitan sa iba’t ibang units ng PNP na tamang-tama para sa May 13 elections.

Ipaprayoridad anya ang ang distribusyon ng equipment sa PNP units sa mga critical areas ngayong midterm elections kabilang ang nasa control ng Commission on Elections (Comelec).
