DOH, nagbigay ng hotline para sa may mga mental health problems
Binuksan na ng Department of Health o DOH sa publiko ang kanilang hotline para sa may mga mental health problems, kasama dito ang mga taong may posibilidad na mag-suicide.
Ito ay alinsunod sa Republic Act 11036 o “Mental health law”.
Ayon sa nasabing batas, ang DOH ay inatasang mag-tayo na 24-hour hotline na magbibigay tulong sa mga tao na mayroong mental health problems at sa mga tao maaaring mag suicide.
Ang mga telephone number na kanilang tatawagan ay 09178998727 and 989-8727 ng National center for mental health crisis hotline.
Hinikayat naman ni DOH Secretary Francisco Duque III ang publiko na makiisa at suportahan ang ganitong program nila at ipakalat ang kanilang hotline numbers.
Layunin din ng RA 11036 na mapabuti ang mental health facilities at i-promote ang mental health education sa lahat ng paaralan at kompanya dito sa bansa.
