19 na lugar sa bansa nagtala ng delikadong antas ng heat index ngayong araw

Nasa 19 na lugar ang umabot sa ‘dangerous level’ ng naitalang heat index sa bansa sa araw ng Biyernes, May 3.

Sa datos ng Phivolcs, naitala ang pinakamataas na heat index sa Guiuan, Eastern Samar na 49.6 degrees Celsius bandang 11:00 ng umaga.

Ang heat index ay ang init na nararamdaman ng katawan ng tao na kadalasang mas mataas sa air temperature.

Maituturing sa ‘dangerous level’ kung aabot ang heat index mula 41 hanggang 54 degrees Celsius.

Narito ang naitalang heat index sa mga sumusunod na lugar:

– Ambulong, Batangas (47.3 degrees Celsius)
– Baler (Radar), Aurora (41.6 degrees Celsius)
– Borongan, Eastern Samar (41 degrees Celsius)

– Daet, Camarines Norte (42.6 degrees Celsius)
– Dagupan City, Pangasinan (45.8 degrees Celsius)
– Dipolog, Zamboanga del Norte (42.3 degrees Celsius)
– Iba, Zambales (41 degrees Celsius)
– Legazpi City, Albay (43.4 degrees Celsius)
– Masbate City, Masbate (41.2 degrees Celsius)
– NAIA Pasay City, Metro Manila (42.1 degrees Celsius)
