MIAA ipinag-utos sa OTS ang paglalagay ng queuing officers sa NAIA

Inabisuhan ni Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) General Manager Ed Monreal ang Office of Transportation Security (OTS) na maglagay ng queuing officers sa screening checkpoints ng lahat ng terminal ng Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

Ito ay matapos ipahayag ni Civil Service Commissioner Aileen Lizada ang inis matapos mamataan ang grupo ng Chinese nationals na sumingit sa pila sa final security checkpoint sa NAIA Terminal 3.

Sa isang press release, iginiit ni Monreal na hindi sinuway ng grupo ng Chinese nationals ang security screening procedure.

Nakita na rin ni Monreal ang CCTV copies ng insidente kung saan namataan si Lizada na nagsusumbong sa OTS screener and supervisor.

Ibibigay din umano ang lahat ng kopya ng CCTV footages ng insidente kay Lizada na hiniling nito.

Sa kanyang unang pahayag, ipinunto ni Lizada na hindi nakaaangat sa batas ng bansa ang mga banyaga.

“It does not look good on us that’s why sinabi ko ho sa OTS, and OTS immediately took action. ‘Yon lang ho ang point ko dito is we have our laws, na pinapasunod ho natin sa lahat na ho ng mga Filipino citizens, they are not above the laws,” ani Lizada.
