Mga pulis pinaalalahanan ng police procedure kasunod ng pagkamatay ng 6 anyos na bata
Pinaalalahanan ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang mga pulis na sumunod sa Revised Police Operational Procedure (POP) kasunod ng pagkamatay ng 6 anyos na batang lalaki sa Caloocan City.
Ayon kay PNP chief General Oscar Albayalde, ang pagsunod sa POP ay patunay ng regularidad ng pagtupad ng pulis sa kanyang tungkulin.
“Compliance to the requirements prescribed in the POP duly establishes a presumption of regularity in the performance of a duty under any circumstances,” ani Albayalde.
Ang pahayag ay kasunod ng pagkamatay ng Grade 1 pupil na si Gian Habal matapos mabaril ni Police Corporal Rocky delos Reyes.
Sinabi ni Albayalde na kung sinunod lamang ni Delos Reyes ang police procedure ay naiwasan sana ang pagkamatay ng bata.
Dapat anyang alam ng mga pulis ang Rules 7 at 8 ng police procedure kung saan nakasaad na ang paggamit ng pwersa sa gitna ng police operation ang tutukoy sa dahilan kung kailan makatwiran ang paggamit ng baril.
