Cebu Pacific magbabawas ng 10 biyahe kada araw ngayong Mayo

Inanunsyo ng Cebu Pacific araw ng Martes na magbabawas sila ng 10 flights kada araw ngayong buwan ng Mayo upang bigyang daan ang kanilang ‘operational recovery’.

Hindi naman umano malaki ang magiging epekto ng flight cancellations na ito sa business operations at financial condition ng airline.

Noon pang April 28 ay nagsimula nang magkansela ng 40 biyahe ang airline dahil sa umano’y damaged aircraft at heavy traffic.

Mayroon ding 58 round-trip flights na kanselado mula ngayong araw hanggang sa May 10.

“To create space in its schedule for operational recovery, minimize rolling delays and give passengers the chance to make alternate travel plans, Cebu Pacific has to temporarily reduce the number of its flights given the current operating conditions, particularly in its Manila hub,” pahayag ng Cebu Pacific.

Sinabi naman ng airline na kasalukuyang pinag-aaralan ang flight adjustments na ipatutupad para sa Hunyo at sa mga susunod pang buwan.

Prayoridad umano sa ngayon ang pag-asiste sa mga apektadong pasahero at maihatid ang mga ito sa kanilang mga destinasyon sa lalong madaling panahon.

Nakikipagtulungan na ang Cebu Pacific sa mga airport authorities at iba pang ahensya para sa kapakanan ng mga pasahero.

“Cebu Pacific is working with the airport authorities, regulatory agencies and other stakeholders to make things better for our passengers,” giit ng airline.
