$5.4-B na Mislatel telecommunication deal selyado na

Inihayag ng Udenna Corp. na tuloy na tuloy na ang pagpasok ng Mislatel consortium sa telecom industry sa bansa makaraan silang lumagda kasama ang China Telecommunications sa $5.4 Billion deal.

Ang Udenna kasama ang isa pang kumpanya na Chelsea Logistics Holding Corp. na pag-aari rin ng negosyanteng si Dennis Uy ay isinapormal ang kanilang investment interest para sa pagtataguyod ng ikatlong telecommunications service provider sa Pilipinas.

“The signing of the investment agreement reiterates the group’s commitment to take up the challenge of providing better telecommunications services in the country,” ayon sa pahayag ng Udenna.

Ang Udenna, Chelsea, at China Telecom ang siyang bubuo sa Mislatel consortium.

Ang Mislatel ang nanalong bidder sa isinagawang selection process ng National Telecommunication Commissions at Department of Information and Communications Techonology (DICT) noong November, 2018.

Ang kasunduan sa pagitan ng Udenna, Chelsea Logistics Holding Corp. at China Telecommunications aty isinagawa sa Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (BRF) sa  Beijing, China.

Si Uy, chairman of Udenna and Chelsea, at Ke Ruiwen, chairman of China Telecom, ang nanguna sa paglagda sa kasunduan.

Nauna nang ipinangako ng Mislatel na gagawin nilang mabilis ang internet connection sa bansa sa mas murang halaga.
