Duterte: Pilipinas handa sa mas maraming Belt and Road projects kasama ang China
Handa ang Pilipinas sa mas maraming proyekto kasama ang China sa ilalim ng Belt and Road Initiative ayon kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
Sa bilateral meeting kasama si Chinese Premier Li Kequiang araw ng Huwebes, ipinahayag ni Duterte ang kahandaan sa mas maraming proyekto kasama ang China.
Sa kanyang opening remarks, sinabi ng pangulo na ang patuloy na pakikilahok ng Pilipinas sa forum ay patunay ng pakikiisa ng Pilipinas sa layon na global connectivity.
“The Philippines’ continued participation in this forum is an acknowledgement of the vision of a global connectivity for shared prosperity,” ani Duterte.
Nasa China ngayon ang pangulo para sa ikalawang Belt and Road forum na tumatalakay sa global infrastructure project ni Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Ang Belt and Road Inititiatve ng China ay layong ikonekta ang Beijing sa iba pang bahagi ng Asya, Africa at Europa sa pamamagitan ng serye ng mga pantalan, railways, kalsada at industrial parks.
“For the signing of the MOU on cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative, the Philippines is ready to pursue more projects with China,” giit ng pangulo.
Bago ang pulong kay Li ay may bilateral meeting din si Duterte kay Chinese President si Xi Jinping.
