Emergency at resiliency fund pinagagamit ng isang lider ng Kamara sa NEA
Hinikayat ni House Committee on Energy Vice Chairman Carlos Roman Uybarreta sa National Electrification Administration (NEA) na gamitin ang emergency at resiliency fund ng ahensya matapos makaranas ang ilang lalawigan sa Central Luzon ng kawalan ng suplay ng kuryente dahil sa 6.1 magnitude na lindol.
Ayon kay Uybarreta, inilaan ang emergency fund ng NEA para gamitin sa oras na magkaroon ng power interruption dulot ng kalamidad tulad ng bagyo at lindol.
Maaari aniyang gamitin ang pondo ng mga electric cooperatives na apektado ng pagbibigay serbisyo ng kuryente.
Salig ang paggamit ng pondo sa ilalim na rin ng Republic Act 11039 o Electric Cooperatives Emergency and Resiliency Fund Act.
Naglaan aniya ang Kongreso ng P750 milyon para sa emergency fund ngayong taon kaya dapat itong magamit upang agad na maisaayos at maibalik ang suplay ng kuryente ngayong bukod sa lindol ay idineklarang nasa red at yellow alert ang Luzon Grid.
