49.2 degrees Celsius na heat index naitala sa Guiuan, Eastern Samar sa Huwebes Santo

Naitala ang pinakamataas na heat index na 49.2 degrees Celsius ngayong Huwebes Santo sa Guiuan, Eastern Samar.

Ang heat index ay ang naramdamang init ng katawan at mas mataas sa aktuwal na temperatura.

Ang 41 degrees Celsius pataas ay ikinukunsiderang mapanganib at may matinding epekto sa kalusugan.

Ayon sa Pagasa, bukod sa Guiuan, 15 iba pang lugar sa bansa ang nagtala ng mas mataas sa 41 degrees Celsius araw ng Huwebes kabilang ang Ambulong, Batangas (45.8 degrees); Daet, Camarines Norte (44.6 degrees); Dagupan City, Pangasinan (44.5 degrees); Sangley Point, Cavite (44.4 degrees) at Pasay City, Metro Manila (43.2 degrees).

Narito ang naitalang heat index sa sumusunod na mga lugar:

Casiguran, Aurora (42.4 degrees)

Masbate City, Masbate (42. 2 degrees)

Clark Airport, Pampanga (42.1 degrees)

Tayabas City, Quezon 41.8 degrees)

Butuan City, Agusan del Norte (41.6 degrees)

Port Area, Manila (41.4 degrees)

Dipolog, Zamboanga del Norte (41.4 degrees)

Calapan, Oriental Mindoro (41.3 degrees)

Legaspi City, Albay (41.2 degrees)

Roxas City, Cadiz (41.1 degrees)

Sinabi naman ng Pagasa na posibleng bumaba ang temperatura sa susunod na mga araw dahil sa panaka-nakang pag-ulan at isolated thunderstorms hanggang weekend.
