Nagtala ng record na 17.4 million na television viewers sa Estados Unidos ang premiere ng bagong season ng series na Game of Thrones.

Ayon sa cable channel na HBO, ang bagong record na TV viewers gayundin sa HBO GO at HBO NOW apps ay lampas sa dating naitala na series high na 16.9 million viewers para sa Season 7 finale noong 2017.

Sa social media, nag-trending din ang premiere ng “GOT” final season.

Pinakamaraming tweets ang Season 8 Episode 1 ng Game of Thrones.

Ayon sa HBO, nagtala ito ng mahigit 5 million tweets at 11 million mentions mula noong weekend.
