Sotto binuweltahan si Andaya kaugnay ng nilagdaang 2019 budget

Binuweltahan ni Senate President Tito Sotto si Camarines Sur Rep. Rolando Andaya Jr. dahil sa batikos nito kasunod ng pagpirma ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa 2019 national budget.

Ito ay matapos ipahiwatig ni Andaya na buo pa rin ang umanoy pork budget para sa Senado sa kabila ng pag-veto ng Pangulo sa P95.3 billion na pondong inilaan ng Kamara sa mga proyektong pang-imprastraktura.

Sinabi pa ni Andaya na hindi Biyernes Santo sa Senado ngayon kundi Pasko.

Pero bwelta ni Sotto kay Andaya, ang paglagda ng Pangulo sa 2019 national budget ay tagumpay ng taumbayan.

“It’s the people’s victory, silly! We do not need to pay attention to brickbats. It’s the people’s victory. The illegal realignments cannot escape the President’s scrutiny,” ani Sotto.

Sa pahiwatig naman ng kongresista ukol sa umanoy pork barrel ng Senado, sinabi ni Sotto na hindi pork funds ang pagsasaayos ng hospital facilities, modernisasyon ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) at iba pa.

Una nang nagbanta ang Pangulo na i-veto ang buong 2019 national budget dahil sa iringan ng Senado at Kamara sa umanoy pork insertions ng ilang mambabatas.
