Sa katunayan, may ilang celebreties at high profile users na ang nakasubok ng stream live video sa mga nakalipas na buwan.
Ang live streaming via mobile phones ay naging ‘big technology trends’ ngayong 2015, patunay dito ang Twitter-owned na Periscope at Meerkat.
Noong nakalipas na taon naman, nasa 1 billion dollars ang binayad ng Amazon para sa live streaming game site na Twitch.
Gayunman, ang live video feature ng Facebook ay available lamang sa ‘small percentage’ ng mga user sa Estados Unidos, at limitado rin ito sa iPhones.
May plano naman ang Facebook na magamit ng kanilang users ang live video feature, subalit hindi ito nagbigay ng specific timescles.
Sa isa naman blogpost, sinabi ng Facebook na “Live lets you show the people you care about what you’re seeing in real time – whether visiting a new place, cooking your favourite recipe or just want to share some thoughts.”
Makikita sa stream ang Live viewers, pangalan ng mga friends na nanunuod at real-time comments. Mase-save naman ang videos sa timeline ng user, hanggang sa magpasya na burahin ang mga ito.
Samantala, inupdate na rin ng Facebook ang paraan kung paano mase-share ang photo collages, na nagpapahintulot na sa users na i-mix ang photos at videos.
