Pasok sa mga SUCs at LUGs, Agosto na ang simula ayon sa CHEd
Agosto na ang permanenteng simula ng mga klase sa State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) at Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs) taun-taon ayon sa Commission on Higher Education (CHEd).
Kasunod ito ng inilabas na memorandum ni CHEd Chairman J. Prospero De Vero III noong March 5 na nagmamandato sa lahat ng paaralan na baguhin ang kanilang mga academic calendars at gawing Agosto ang pagbubukas ng klase simula ngayong taon.
Ito umano ay para mag-umpisa ang mga klase ng SUCs at LUCs sa fiscal year ngayong 2019 at upang masiguro na lahat ay sumusunod sa bagong academic calendar sa 2020.
Ang rason naman sa utos ay hindi nilinaw sa memorandum.
Ang memorandum ay alinsunod sa probisyon ng Higher Education Act of 1994 o Republic Act 7722 at Commission En Banc Resolution No. 142-2019.
