Luzon grid may sapat na suplay ng kuryente ayon sa NGCP
Inalis na ng National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) ang yellow alert na naunang itinaas sa Luzon grid dahil sa manipis na reserba ng kuryente.
Sa kanilang Facebook account, sinabi ng NGCP na simula Biyernes ng gabi ay sapat na ang kanilang generating capacity.
Nauna nang inilagay sa red at yellow alert ang Luzon power grid makaraang makaranas ng “depleting power reserves” na nagresulta sa isa hanggang 2 oras na outages sa kanilang mga planta.
Gayunman, nanawagan pa rin sa publiko ang ahensya na magtipid sa paggamit ng kuryente.
Nakaranas din ng rotational brownout sa ilang mga lugar noong Huwebes at Biyernes.
