2 pang planta ng kuryente ang pumalya ayon sa DOE

Anim na planta ng kuryente na ang nakaranas ng unplanned o forced outage dahilan para magtaas ng red at yellow alert sa Luzon grid sa maghapon.

Ayon sa Department of Energy (DOE) dalawang planta pa ang nadagdag mula sa apat noong isang araw na nagkaroon ng biglaang outage.

Ang dalawang panibagong plantang mayroong forced outage ay ang:

– Panasia Energy Inc. (PEI) Limay A1
– SMC Consolidated Power Corporation, Limay U1

Habang ang apat na nauna nang nakaranas ng hindi inaasahang outage ay ang:

– TeaM Energy Corporation, Sual 1
– Southwes Luzon Power Generation Corporation U2
– Pagbilao Energy Corporation
– South Luzon Thermal Energy Corporation U1

Sa kabuuan, ang anim na pumalyang planta ay may kapasidad na 1,562 megawatts.

Nananatili namang de-rated o may bawas sa inilalabas na enerhiya ang Calaca U2 na ang kapasidad ay 200 megawatts subalit 100 megawatts lamang ang ino-operate.

Huwebes (Apr. 11) ng gabi ay nagpatawag na ng emergency meeting ang NGCP dahil sa problema.

At muling magpapatawag ng follow-up meeting ngayong araw kasama ang ERC, NGCP, IEMOP, at MERALCO.
