Reserba ng kuryente manipis pa rin ayon sa NGCP; red alert 13-oras na iiral sa Luzon grid
Dahil sa manipis pa ring reserba sa kuryente, muling iiral ang yellow at red alert sa Luzon grid ngayong maghapon ng Biyernes, April 12, 2019.
Ayon sa abiso ng National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP), sa kasagsagan ng peak hour o mataas ang demand sa kuryente ay iiral ang red alert sa Luzon grid na tatagal ng 13-oras.
Narito ang mga oras ng pag-iral ng yellow at red alert sa Luzon grid:
8:00AM hanggang 9:00AM – YELLOW ALERT
9:00AM hanggang 10:00PM – RED ALERT
10:00PM hanggang 11:00PM – YELLOW ALERT
Ayon sa NGCP, mayroong available capacity ng kuryente na 10,220 megawatts habang ang peak demand ay 10,334 megawatts ang kailangang supply ng kuryente.
Ang pagtataas ng yellow at red alert ay mangangahulugan ng posibilidad na pagpapatupad ng rotational brownout sa mga sineserbisyuhan ng Meralco.
