Ayon sa Phivolcs, ang episentro ng lindol ay sa layong 108 kilometro Timog-Kanluran ng Sipalay.
May lalim itong 46 kilometro at tectonic ang origin.
Hindi naman nagdulot ng pinsala sa ari-arian ang lindol at wala ring inaasahang aftershocks.
