Eleazar ipinag-utos ang simulation drills sa lahat ng limang police districts ng NCR
Ipinag-utos ni National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Chief Police Maj. Gen. Guillermo Eleazar sa lahat ng district directors sa Metro Manila ang pagsasagawa ng regular simulation exercises (SIMEX) na may kaugnayan sa terorismo.
Ang utos ni Eleazar ay kasunod ng simulation drills sa Cubao Araneta Business Center ng Quezon City Police District (QCPD).
Nais ni Eleazar na mahasa ang kakayahan ng mga pulis sa pagresponde sa bomb at terror attacks.
Iginiit ng police official na sa pamamagitan ng simulation exercises ay malalaman, maitatama at mapapaganda ang paraan ng pagresponde dahil kailangan anyang laging handa ang pwersa ng pulisya.
“By doing these simulation exercises, we would become aware of what we should do and identify, correct and improve on how to respond because we need to be always prepared,” ani Eleazar.
Ang NRCPO ay binubuo ng QCPD, Manila Police District, Northern Police District, Southern Police District at Eastern Police District.
