Tiniyak ng Quezon City Police District (QCPD) na walang namomonitor na banta ng terorismo.
Sa isinagawang bomb disposal simulation, sinabi ni QCPD director Brig. Gen. Joselito Esquivel na ito ay para maging handa ang police bomb disposal unit at iba pang opisyal mula sa iba’t ibang ahensya ng gobyerno sa posibleng pag-atake.
Nagsasagawa aniya ng mga pagsasanay para makita ng mga pulis ang mas mabuting aksyon sa oras ng anumang pag-atake.
Dagdag pa nito, ang aktibidad ay kasunod ng utos ni Philippine National Police (PNP) chief General Oscar Albayalde na tutukan ang mga lugar na madalas puntahan tuwing bakasyon at Semana Santa.
Isinagawa ang simulation ng bomb disposal sa isang food park sa Cubao bilang pagsasanay sa pagresponde kapag may naganap na pagsabog.
Kasama ng QCPD sa aktibidad ang Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), QC Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office at Philippine Red Cross.
