Amerikano, arestado makaraang gumamit ng pekeng Philippine passport sa NAIA
Arestado ang isang Amerikano matapos mahulihan ng pekeng Philippine passport sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
Ayon kay Bureau of Immigration Port Operations Division chief Grifton Medina, nahuli ang 49-anyos na si Elmer Doller sa NAIA Terminal 3, Sabado ng umaga.
Nanggaling si Doller sa Doha, Qatar.
Ani Medina, napansin ng isang immigration officer ang pasaporte ni Doller na walang security feature at hindi ma-detect ng passport reader.
Sinabi pa umano ni Doller na balido ang kaniyang pasaporte dahil Pilipino ang kaniyang ina.
Kalaunan, inamin din ng Amerikano na nakuha lang nito ang ginamit na Philippine passport mula sa isang kaibigan sa Cavite.
Dinala si Doller sa BI Detention Facility Sa Taguig dahil sa paglabag sa immigration laws.
