Duterte sa mga kritiko: ‘Pag nasagad ako, magdedeklara ako ng revolutionary war’
Nagbanta si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na magdedeklara siya ng “revolutionary war” kapag siya ay nasagad.
Sa kanyang talumpati sa Puerto Princesa City Huwebes ng gabi, binatikos ng Pangulo si opposition Senator Franklin Drilon sa pahayag nito na mag-ingat ang gobyerno sa pagsunod sa utos ni Duterte na i-review ang lahat ng kontrata at loan deal ng gobyerno kabilang ang sa China.
Ayon kay Drilon, ito ay mangangahulugan ng pagsira ng gobyerno sa obligasyon nito sa ilalim ng kontrata at mayroon itong legal at financial implications.
Pero pinalagan ito ng Pangulo: “Why should I be very careful in reviewing contracts that are not to the interest of the people? And the onerous and burden provisions there that people have to honor. So you think that I will allow it just because we cannot impair the obligation of our contract?”
Dagdag ni Duterte, marami na siyang problema pero kapag siya ay sinagad ay magdedeklara siya ng suspensyon ng writ of habeas corpus at ipapa-aresto niya ang lahat ng lumalaban sa gobyerno.
“I have enough problems with criminality, drugs, rebellion and all pero pag ako ang pinaabot ninyo ng sagad, I will declare the suspension of the writ of habeas corpus and I will arrest all of you. Kasama kayo sa mga rebelde, mga kriminal pati ang mga durogista. Then pahirapan mo ako? I will declare a revolutionary war until the end of my term, then pasensyahan tayo,” ani Duterte.
Una nang binanggit ng Pangulo ang pagbuo ng revolutionary government kapag nagkagulo sa bansa dahil sa plano ng kanyang mga kritiko na mapatalsik siya sa pwesto.
