Arestado ang isang pulis sa gate ng Camp Bagong Diwa, headquarters ng National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) sa Taguig City dahil sa pangongotong.
Ayon sa Philippine National Police Counter Intelligence Task Force (PNP-CITF), hinuli si Police Corporal Rommel Enrico matapos tumanggap umano ng P200,000 sa ikinasang entrapment operation.
Sinabi ng CITF na humingi umano si Enrico ng pera mula sa misis ng nahuling Korean national kapalit ng paglaya nito.
Ang Koryano ay nakadetine sa Bureau of Immigration (BI) dahil sa matagal na pananatili sa bansa.
Itinanggi naman ng pulis na ibigay ang pagkakakilanlan ng nagreklamo at asawa nito.
Sa ngayon, dinala na si Enrico sa opisina ng CITF sa Camp Crame.
Mahaharap si Enrico sa kasong paglabag sa Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act at Direct Bribery.
