BIR mag-iinspeksyon sa mga gasolinahan simula Hunyo

Magsasagawa ang Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) ng surprise inspection sa mga gasoline station sa Metro Manila simula sa buwan ng Hunyo

Ayon kay BIR Deputy Commissioner for Operations Arnel Guballa, ito ay para masuri kung mayroong hindi nabuwisang produktong petrolyo.

Simula sa Hunyo, dapat mayroon nang marka ng Bureau of Customs ang mga naipadalang krudo sa mga gas station.

Sinabi pa ni Guballa na layon din ng inspeksyon na mahuli ang lucrative petroleum smuggling business.

Nagiging sanhi kasi aniya ito ng pagkawala ng mahigit-kumulang P30 bilyong excise tax kada taon.

Makakasama sa inspeksyon ang mga technician ng fuel marking contrator na kinuha ng Department of Finance para pangunahan ang eksaminasyon.
